This front disc brake conversion kit includes everything needed to mount USA-made MaxGrip Lite 4-piston aluminum disc brake calipers to your vehicle's original drum brake spindles. The kit features black powder-coated calipers with stainless steel pistons, MaxGrip XDS cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and braided brake hoses.

Designed for direct bolt-on installation with no cutting, drilling, or welding required, this kit uses new, high-quality, precision-machined components. The calipers are also designed to clear factory sway bars, making this an excellent disc brake upgrade for your classic Ford or Mercury.

Vehicle Fitment

Fits select 1960-1968 full-size Ford and Mercury models, including Ford Galaxie, Galaxie 500, Fairlane, LTD, Custom, Country Squire, and Mercury Monterey, Montclair, Marauder, and Colony Park, among others. The fitment data also lists the 1960 Edsel Villager. Compatibility varies by year and model.

Important Factory Power Brake Requirement

This kit is designed for vehicles originally equipped with factory power brakes. You must reuse your existing factory power brake booster. A new brake booster is not included.
