Warehouse Manager Position Overview

LEED Brakes is seeking an energetic and results-oriented Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including team leadership, inventory control, process improvement, and logistics. You'll play a crucial role in driving profitability through optimized packaging, shipping, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team for inventory, production, packaging, and shipping.
  • Lead regular team meetings, provide training, and conduct performance reviews.
• Inventory Management:
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory systems.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories in coordination with Purchasing.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and timeliness.
• Process Improvement:
  • Continuously optimize warehouse processes for efficiency and productivity.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, Kanban, 5S).
• Logistics Management:
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with carriers.
• Quality Control:
  • Develop and implement quality control standards to ensure product consistency.
  • Oversee packaging and shipping to minimize damage and ensure order accuracy.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience required.
• College degree or certification in inventory, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift certification a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical demands include regularly lifting 10–50 lbs, and occasionally over 100 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting required.
