LEED Brakes' MaxGrip Lite 4-Piston D11 Caliper Kits are engineered to replace factory Kelsey-Hayes calipers with a lightweight, high-performance upgrade. All components are precision-machined and compatible with stock disc brake and most aftermarket wheels.

Designed specifically for 1964–1973 Ford Mustang, Ford Falcon, Mercury Cougar, and more, these kits are available in anodized, black, or red finishes and deliver improved braking power with a factory-style look. Caliper kits start at $899.95.

Made in the USA from high-strength forged billet aluminum, these calipers are 5 lbs lighter than stock and bolt directly to the original disc brake brackets. Includes D11 semi-metallic pads and braided stainless hoses. Compatible with stock or MaxGrip XDS rotors and most 14" wheels.

Our MaxGrip Lite kits are designed for factory drum brake spindles and offer a bolt-on fit for most classic Mustangs and related Ford platforms. For 1967–70 Mustangs, slight firewall modifications may be needed for power booster installation—just like the factory did. Don’t worry—our instructions guide you through every step.

One question we’re often asked is, “How do I install the master cylinder and brake lines on my Mustang?” LEED Brakes makes this process easy with pre-bent brake lines that connect the new master cylinder to your factory distribution block. Start by bench bleeding the master cylinder in a vise off the vehicle. Then, mount it to the firewall, install the new brake lines, and bleed the rest of the system. The power booster mounts using the factory locations, keeping installation straightforward.
