Power Brake Booster Kit

Upgrade your 1964-1966 Ford Mustang equipped with a factory manual transmission to power brakes with this comprehensive Power Brake Booster Kit. Designed for a factory look, this kit requires no modifications to your factory strut tower and export brace.

This kit includes:

  • Necessary brake lines to route from the new master cylinder to your factory 3-port distribution block
  • Step-by-step installation instructions

The adjustable proportioning valve allows you to fine-tune the amount of pressure your rear brakes receive to prevent rear wheel lockup. This is a great Power Brake Booster Kit that provides a factory look and enhanced performance!

Note: This kit fits vehicles with factory manual transmission "Z Bar" linkage only. For manual shift cars equipped with an aftermarket cable-style clutch, use part number FC0002HK.

All LEED Brakes kits for the 1964-1973 Ford Mustang are designed for simple installation. Our disc brake kits fit your factory drum brake spindle (except 1964-1966 6-cylinder cars) without any modifications. The stopping power comes from our 4 Piston Caliper, a replica of the factory Kelsey Hayes calipers used on disc brake Mustangs from 1965-1967. Our calipers are assembled with stainless steel pistons and have a zinc-plated finish on the caliper casting for maximum corrosion protection.

One common question is, “How do I install the Master Cylinder and Brake lines on my Mustang?” LEED Brakes has simplified this process by including pre-bent brake lines that install from the new master cylinder to your factory distribution block. Simply bench bleed your master cylinder in a vice off the vehicle. Next, mount the master cylinder to the firewall, install your new brake lines, and bleed the rest of your system. The power booster installation is straightforward as everything mounts in the factory power brake locations on your firewall. Our instructions detail these locations and any necessary firewall modifications on 1967-1970 Mustangs. These are simple modifications that were also done at the factory when assembling Mustangs equipped with power brakes.
