Comments:
I installed this disk brake kit onto my 1978 Dodge D150 truck. It is necessary to remove the axels in order to install the caliper backing plate. I was having work done to the differential by a shop so I had them install the backing plates when the differential was apart. For this reason I can not comment on this part of the job. The remainder to the job was really straight forward. The parts appear to be good quality, everything fit together properly and the instructions are clear. One small criticism is that the photos in the instructions are not so great. They are printed in black and white and don't have much definition. I had to modify the stock E-brake cable mounting point on the frame of the truck in order for the left side cable to be long enough. The instructions warn that this may be the case, so I was prepared and the job was pretty easy.
