Open Position : Technical Service Representative

LEED Brakes is looking for an in house Technical Service Representative to add to our growing team. Assisting our customers in researching the best solution for their vehicle, walking them through brake system diagnosis and giving them the confidence in their braking system is a priority to LEED Brakes and key to this position. Position Summary:

Energized by classic cars and the innerworkings of the brakes system, the Technical Service Representative provides strategic technical support to customers who have questions or problems with their vehicles. This includes answering phone calls, emails, and online chats; troubleshooting problems; and providing instructions on how to repair or maintain vehicles braking systems. This position is responsible for growing and developing established customer accounts through expert knowledge and technical support. A successful incumbent is driven by helping customers find the best brake solutions for their classic cars.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Providing strategic support to customer questions and inquiries via phone calls, emails, and online chats from customers with questions or problems with their braking systems.
  • Providing solution-oriented answers to customer questions regarding LEED Brakes products
  • Work closely with the Sales and Tech team to deliver solutions to technical product questions.
  • Achieve technical expertise and maintain relevance in our industry by taking advantage of the many educational opportunities available.
  • Growing and developing established customer accounts through knowledgeable technical support and advice.
  • Maximizing profit by providing customers cross-sale or up-sale options
  • Follows up on product inquiries to close potential sales
  • Deliver superior customer service to build customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Maintaining a positive and professional tone with angry customers, making every effort to maintain their loyalty
  • As applicable, answering e-mail inquiries within required time frames in a professional manner with accurate and timely information
  • Helping identify process improvements and best practices for the team
  • Clearly documenting customer conversations

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Provide show support on weekends or after hours as needed
  • Work with the Marketing Associate to develop technical guides or technical marketing information
  • Relay any issues to engineering
  • Document product issues and defects
  • Additional tasks as needed

  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven ability to navigate across organizational boundaries
  • Computer experience with the ability to navigate in email, internet and internal systems required
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well with others required
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
